On this page you will find information on howto create e-mail addresses and howto upload your website.
For viewing the interactive flash manuals your need Flash to be installed.

Important: We are using digitalus.ltd in the examples below this is a fictitious domain and you have to replace it
with your own domain.

Upload your website:
To view your website on the internet you have to publish your website to our server.
This can be done by using a FTP program such as LeechFTP, but you can use every
FTP program actually.

To make a connection to our FTP server you we will need to connect to ftp.digitalus.tld. If your facing any problems we advice you to check your FTP documentation.
Host: ftp.digitalus.tld
User name: uwgebruikersnaam@digitalus.tld
Password: password
Some remarks:
- your main/index page should be named index.html or index.php
- the webpages should be placed in the mainwebsite_html directory
- the user webpages should be placed in the public_html directory
- the webserver is case-sensitive; Index.html is not the same as index.html
Create e-mail addresses at your control panel
Before you can download any email you will have to create an e-mail account at your
control panel. First the site administrator has to login on
http://www.digitalus.tld/admin
with the information provided by Digitalus.

After this you go to
mailboxes users, there you will find an option
add user.
If you created a user
piet with password
testje then your e-mail
address will be
piet@digitalus.tld and
testje as password.
You are ready now to setup your e-mail program such as
Mozilla Thunderbird or Outlook Express.
Download e-mail with Outlook Express
if you want to make use of Outlook Express for your e-mails you
can follow the following steps:

- start the program
- go to Extra and then to Accounts
- click on Add, Email...
- at Name you can type your name, the receiver will see this name. And click on Next
- at E-mailaddress you fill in the e-mail address you have created on your control panel, e.g. you@digitalus.tld. Press Next
- at Server for incoming e-mail you can type mail.digitalus.tld and
server for outgoing e-mail should contain the outgoing mailserver (SMTP) provided by your internetprovider. Mostly this is smtp.name-of-your-internetprovider.nl
- at Accountname you have to fill in the username. The accountname should be something like: you@digitalus.tld. In the Password field you type the password
- check the Remember password option. And click on Next
- after this you can safe your setting and you are ready to download your e-mail

Publiceren by Frontpage:
If you made your website in frontpage there are two ways to publisch
your website. You either use the
FTP option or the
Frontpage Extension/Sharepoint option.

For publishing by FTP you only need the username and password information at hand (and your website address).
If you want to make use of the
Frontpage Extensions you need to contact us and we will enable it for your (free).
You can sent an e-mail
support@digitalus.nl.
After we enabled the Frontpage Extension you won't have FTP access anymore.
After we enabled the Frontpage Extensions you can publisch to
www.digitalus.tld
Perl usage:
The usage of perl is not advised because it can be complicated if you are new to it. If you are new we advice
you to use PHP. Ofcourse if you want to make use of Perl thats not a problem.

You can put your perl and cgi-bin scripts in your mainwebsite_perl (/var/www/perl) directory. The scripts
can be found at
http://www.digitalus.tld/perl/uwscript.pl for example.
Remarks:
- The first line (shebang) needs to start with: #!/usr/bin/perl/
- Upload your scripts always in ASCI mode
- Don't give highter rights then 755
- The Sendmail binady can be found at: /usr/sbin/sendmail/
- HTML and PHP files do no work in your Perl folder

can not be held responsible for any damage or any other losses. Also we can not give any support on
